Time: 10:30-15:30

Venue: Walrus Ceramics at Unit G Park Farm, High Green, Brooke, Norfolk, NR15 1HR.

Explore creating linocut prints in multiple ink colours using the jigsaw and multi block methods of linocut printmaking.

As a small group (maximum class size of six), we'll be discussing how to use Ternes Burton strips and tabs in a registration board, and how to design, transfer, carve and print both a jigsaw linocut and a multi block linocut print.

You'll be choosing from a selection of pre-prepared images for this workshop, prepared by the tutor, to ensure you gain experience with both types of printmaking methods within the time of the workshop.

There will be lots of general discussion about making different coloured linocut prints and participants are welcome to ask as many questions as they'd like to ensure they fully understand the process.

Participants will leave the workshop with an edition of their linocut prints and their blocks to continue printing or developing their designs at home.

This course is aimed at those who have either attended an introductory workshop or have some experience with linocut printmaking. Beginners are welcome to attend but it is advised to watch online tutorials to familiarise yourself with basic linocut printmaking processes before attending.

All tools and materials are provided. The workshop is very hands-on, with everything explained in demonstrations as you go along in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

There is free car parking on site and a toilet in the studio.

Please note the following when booking onto this workshop:
