'Things We Found On Our Walk' is a series of four original linocut prints created to celebrate a walk through British woodlands finding little trinkets to put in your pocket - from feathers to rocks to wild fruit. There are four linocut prints in this series; Spring, Summer, Autumn (currently being designed) and Winter (currently being designed). Prints vary a little across the edition due to the nature of them being hand printed. Professional standard inks used in the multiblock method of creating linocuts. Please do not display in direct sunlight. Linocut block displayed in the photographs not included.
Linocut prints come with a certificate of authenticity on the rear of the mount. Linocut prints are signed, titled and editioned (where relevant).
Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum and ink is rolled on the surface to create the print. Video examples of the printing process can be found on my social media (@stellaboxdesigns).
